July 19 Deviance

Just like the moon only gives light by being the reflector of foreign information, the sunlight that is to say blinding when looking at it, there is the picture, the painting, the reproduction, the movie, ...
In some respects the reflection of the original satisfies more as a source of information because there is a time-experience acting as a "brake", as a buffer zone, leading to a bigger view. One experiences an impulse to control. The information radius, the information, the information and its environment factors, becomes wider which reduces distraction. When the radius is thinner and sharper the influencing factors of the environment become more present, this imposes a heavier duty on the vigilance. There is more room for personal interpretation, the selection of the external influences needs to be made on the spot.
Bodies like the media take over the job of personal psychological processes, which in a certain sense are too time-consuming to constantly maintain. The choice of a second hand source is in itself already a concession to one's own nature. Maybe the truth of the individual is more likely to be at the crossroads than at the polished track of well-considered straightforward aisles. Often the picture of an object has more potency in depth meaning than the object itself, in other words it has a bigger effect on the imagination.
