January 13 Ambiguity

The absence of mystery, the dissolving of all mystery, these are the causes of despondency. After getting to the bottom of all, despondency and boredom arrive.
‘Now’ is so fathomable, so susceptible, so free and compelling at the same time that it could be called God. It is the only field of comprehension that is capable of containing action. One understands such action from a past and a future point of view, simultaneously. The decision to proceed to non-action at a moment when the reason for action is pure, together with the reflection that action would have been advisable and useful, causes the implementation of the decision to be the enigma that we call boredom.
