In feite is de inhoud van tijdschriften grotendeels dat wat voortkomt uit boeken of dat wat er aanleiding toe geeft. Kortom, een kompleet andere tak van de informatie. Ik lees boeken om te leren wat ik geacht word te denken, te antwoorden en te zeggen tijdens een gesprek zonder mij te laten gaan zoals gewoonlijk. Ik ben op zoek naar een systeem dat mij in staat stelt te communiceren zonder mij totaal bloot te geven en zonder mij uit veiligheidsoverwegingen af te sluiten. Het kontrast tussen de handelingen en de overdenkingen achteraf zou dan wat minder groot moeten zijn. (85)
The contents of magazines consists largely from what comes out of books or from that which leads to it. In short, a complete different line of information. I read books to learn what I am supposed to think, to answer and to say in a conversation without letting it all hang out as usual. I am looking for a system that enables me to communicate without giving myself away totally and without cutting myself off for security reasons. The contrast between the actions and the thoughts afterwards should then be a bit less strong. (85)
